ChatGPT prompts for business that produce usable output
Prompt patterns for sales replies, offers, SOPs and summaries — with the context blocks that make them reliable.
Every reliable prompt has four parts
- Role and audience — who is writing and who reads it.
- Context — your product, price, tone and constraints.
- Task — one instruction, stated as an outcome.
- Format — length, structure and what to leave out.
Write your business context once — products, pricing rules, tone, banned phrases — and paste it above every prompt. Output quality tracks context quality almost exactly.
Four patterns worth memorising
- 1Draft-and-critique
Ask for a draft, then ask the model to list what a sceptical customer would object to, then revise.
- 2Variant generation
Request the same message in standard, premium, short and voice-note form.
- 3Extraction
Paste a chat transcript and ask for objections, next steps and missing information only.
- 4SOP conversion
Describe a task aloud, ask for a numbered procedure a new hire could follow.
We document the operating procedures, automations and templates that let a small team behave like a large one.
